Screenie is a local-first desktop app. The short version: your designs, chats, linked code, and assets live on your machine and are not sent to us. We keep the minimum needed to run accounts and billing.
None of this is transmitted to Screenie's servers. Agent conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude under your own Claude account and Anthropic's terms — Screenie does not receive or store that traffic.
If we add product analytics (e.g. anonymous usage counts) we will update this policy first.
Email hello@usescreenie.com to access or delete your account data. Deleting the app deletes all local data it created (designs are also under ~/Library/Application Support/screenie).

Screenie is a desktop design tool in which an AI agent produces designs and prototypes at your direction. It requires a Claude (Anthropic) account, which you provide and which is governed by Anthropic's own terms and pricing — Screenie subscriptions do not include Claude usage.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Everything you create with Screenie is yours — designs, exports, and hand-off prompts, for any personal or commercial use.
The agent's output is generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable — review before you rely on it or ship it. You are responsible for what you create with the tool and for having rights to the content (code, images) you provide as context.
Don't use Screenie to violate laws or third-party rights, don't redistribute or resell the app itself, and don't attempt to circumvent plan limits or abuse the service.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobela Inc.'s total liability for any claim related to Screenie is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
First subscription payment: full refund within 14 days, no questions asked — email hello@usescreenie.com from your account address.
Renewal payments are generally not refunded, but you can cancel anytime and keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. If you believe a charge is in error, write to us and we'll sort it out.
